My Review ~

Kathi Macias has written a wonderful short book of devotions that can easily be read in a brief amount of time each day or week. These devotions begin with scripture. Kathi then offers encouragement and focuses on how the scripture can be applied to our busy lives when little time for spiritual enrichment can be found. A woman of faith, Kathi Macias presents each of these devotions on a personal level by offering encouragement through her life experiences in faithful living so that the reader can find common ground with each verse for the day. Following the devotion is a page for writing your own reflections and feelings that the devotion has evoked.

I found through reading this devotional that much can be achieved even in bite-sized pieces. By opening ourselves to scripture and the suggestions and examples Kathi offers, we can deepen our faith in small bites. I intend to use this devotional again and again. Repetition is a useful method of remembering, and these helpful lessons are worth committing to memory. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, this little devotional is fruitful.
